Gephart 2016 CPP Partnership of the Year

Minneapolis, MN

Gephart Electric and Gunnar Electric have been awarded the 2016 Construction Partnering Program (CPP) Partnership of the Year Award. This award is given annually to the CPP partnership that best embodies the true commitment to the program and to each other. The Construction Partnering Program (CPP) is a program that creates increased opportunities for majority and minority owned firms in the construction industry. The intent of the program is to develop mutually beneficial partnerships between established contractors and minority or women (M/WBE) owned firms to support a sustainable and robust pool of contractors. Gephart and Gunnar announced their partnership in 2009 and since that time their collaboration has meant significant growth and success for both companies. Working on over a dozen significant projects together – including the Minnesota Twins Target Field and the Minnesota Vikings’ US Bank Stadium – the two companies have become one of the go-to partnerships in the local construction scene. Given the continuing focus on diversity and inclusion in construction, especially on large, visible projects with elements of public funding or financing, it is sure to be a partnership that will be successful for years to come.
